Founded in 1992
Tiziana Sassoli established the Fondantico gallery in 1992 and she has been dealing in Old Master paintings for over twenty five years; specializing in the italian school especially in the emilian area from XVI to XVIII century. Particular attention to quality and condition of the works of art is the main concern of the acquisition policy and the results arouse national and worldwide collectors and museums’s interest. The gallery’s reputation has been built exactly on these rigorous standards by which the paintings are selected. The gallery holds regular exhibitions accompanied by scholarly catalogues that are fully researched and illustrated. Close collaboration with art historians and museums demonstrates the Gallery’s success in working with Institutions, including bank foundations and museums. Tiziana Sassoli takes part regularly at the major national art fairs by which she maintains continuous connection with the Institutions which have purchased from her.
A new business line offers several and more art services such as an estimation and valuation centre, based on a current knowledge of the art market, project analysis for new collection, art law consulting, and restoration matters’s advices.
