Founded in 1994
The Antiquities' Alberto Di Castro, on the antiquities market for more than a century, is today run by Alberto Di Castro, grandson of the founder. Sole owner of the historic company, proudly represents the fourth generation of antiquarians Di Castro, in Rome since 1878. Alberto, who specializes in colored marbles in Rome by the end of 16th century, following his passions, never conditioned by the logic of the market, and in recent years has sought to combine the activities of antiques to the most rigorous art-historical research by making use of scholars most authorative. He participate at the TEFAF in Mastricht, and the Biennale dell'Antiquariato in Florence and the Biennale dell'Antiquariato in Rome, displaying objects, marble, furniture and paintings of high quality and refined taste.
