PAOLA CUOGHI • RICCARDO VERRI

Surprise

Founded in 1959
The gallery "SURPRISE Paola Cuoghi" was founded by the owner, Paola Cuoghi, on 17th November 1959. Born in the historical heart of Modena, it was based in Via Ganaceto 28, where it still stands after over 50 years. The gallery deals mostly in furniture, paintings and works of art from the 16th and 18th centuries, with a keen predilection/interest for Venetian furniture of 18th century. Since 1996 Riccardo Verri, Paola’s son, works alongside with her, carrying on the family legacy.
“SURPRISE Paola Coughi” regularly takes part in the most important art fairs in Italy: the Biennale dell'Antiquariato in Florence; the Biennale dell'Antiquariato in Rome; Gotha in Parma and Modenantiquaria.
