I began my antiquarian activity in 1975, following my family business that started in 1950.
I have specialized in the trade of antique frames from the sixteenth to the eighteenth century, since 1985.
Among my clients I have great collectors, great merchants, international museums (including the Metropolitan museum of New York, the Getty museum, Malibu, National Gallery, London), public and private bodies and large companies.

I was the President of the Modena antique dealers from 1997 to 2000 and from 2006 to 2009.
I have been a member of various commissions of experts in antique exhibitions.
I've been Commender of the Italian Republic since 1999.

Tuscany, early 16th century. “Aedicula or tabernacle” frame with an architectonic structure. Vasarian design. Carved wood with natural dark patina. Large base enriched with an ovolo moulding. The side frames are carved with Sansovino motifs. The semi-circular tympanum is carved, pierced and displays in the centre three hills, symbol of the Chigi Albani della Rovere family.
