Alberto Di Castro Antiquities has been a staple in the antiques market for more than a century; Alberto Di Castro, grandson of the founder, now runs it. The sole owner of the historic company, he proudly represents the fourth generation of Di Castro antiquarians, active in Rome since 1878. Alberto, who specializes in Rome coloured marbles from the end of 16th century, follows his passions and is never conditioned by the logic of the market. In recent years he combined his activity as an antiquarian with the most rigorous art-historical research, consulting the most authoritative scholars. He participates in TEFAF Maastricht and the Florence and Rome International Biennial Antiques Fair, displaying high-quality objects, marbles, furniture and paintings that possess a refined taste.
