Dr. Gianluca Bocchi founded Galleria d’Orlane in 1984. The gallery takes part in the most important Italian antiques fairs and also organises theme-based exhibitions in a 16th century palace in Casalmaggiore and other venues. Research for artworks that will enter their collection is pursued on the national and international market. Clients include museums, collectors and lovers of Italian paintings from the 16th to the 18th century. Gianluca Bocchi is a member of the Italian Antiquarians Association (A.A.I.), the Italian Federation of Italian Art Dealers (F.I.M.A.) and the Confédération International des Négociants en Oeuvres d’Art (C.I.N.O.A.). Further to this, Gianluca Bocchi works as an independent researcher and art historian, dedicating himself to the study and promotion of Italian still life painting. Up to now, he has published 4 books: Naturalia (1992), Naturaliter (1998), Pittori di natura morta a Roma. Artisti stranieri 1630-1750 (2004), Pittori di natura morta a Roma.
