Caretto & Occhinegro brings on a new canon for Flemish, Dutch and German paintings from the 15th to the 17th centuries. Outstanding competence in this field made the Gallery the undisputed leader in Italy and an international reference point in the art market, also entailing historical and artistic studies on northern schools. The Gallery focuses on very few art fairs – such as TEFAF and BIAF – giving preference to the evaluation and critical study of individual works and the topics related to them. The exceptional quality of the proposed works means they constantly work for public exhibitions, both as lenders and as consultants. The yearly selection of works favours the so-called Flemish Primitives of the 15th and early 16th centuries, as well as the German Renaissance: special emphasis is then put on works by Brueghel, which represent the supreme excellence of Flemish art, in view of their fame, value and relevance. Last but not least, the Gallery also features a selection of works from the Dutch Golden Age.
