I began my activity as an antiquarian in 1975, following on from my family business that had started back in 1950. Since 1985 I specialise in the trade of antique frames from the 16th to the 18th century. My clients include great collectors and merchants, international museums (including the Metropolitan Museum In New York, the J.Paul Getty Museum in Malibu and the National Gallery in London), public and private bodies and large companies. I took part in many art and antique fairs, including: LONDON ART WEEK 2020, TEFAF Maastricht 2020, the Biennale Antique Fair at Palazzo Corsini in Florence, Art and Collectibles at Palazzo Venezia in Rome, the Milan International Antiques Show, Brixiantiquaria in Brescia, Modenantiquaria in Modena, Gotha in Parma and Assisiantiquariato in Assisi. Furthermore, Paris Tableau at Palais Brongniart in Paris from 2012 to 2016, Paris Tableau at the Patinoire Royale in Brussels in 2017 and Flashback in Turin in 2017.. I was the President of the Modena antique dealers from 1997 to 2000 and from 2006 to 2009. I have been a member of various commissions of experts in antique exhibitions and I was appointed Knight Commander of the Italian Republic in 1999.
