Antiquariato Chiale

Founded in 1971
In 1971 Aldo Chiale decided to enter the art world and began to establish contacts with museums and to create connections in the international art market to find the best quality items for his customers. From 2004 Alessandro Chiale, who obtained a PhD in the History of Art, took over the business and in 2009 Federico Chiale, who had a PhD in Architecture, began enlarging the gallery’s range to incorporate interior design. The gallery specializes primarily in 18th and 19th century works of art, and in bronze and marble sculptures of the 20th century. The pieces are selected following strict criteria concerning the artists and designers and the provenance of the pieces. Each work is thoroughly examined with regard to technical and historical detail and clients are always ensured a certificate of authenticity. The gallery participates at important international fairs such as Masterpiece London Fair, Brafa Art Fair, International Biennale of Florence.
