An architect, lighting designer and third-generation antiquarian, Riccardo Chiavacci opened a splendid location in Via dei Fossi in Florence in 2014, after having worked in the family business for twenty-five years. This followed on from the need to widen his horizons and create a collection of Classical antiques, with works spanning from the end of the 15th to the end of the 19th centuries. There emerged an antiques gallery that was deeply rooted into classical shapes, but also open to the eclectic art forms that meet the demands of contemporary tastes, using faster and more modern means of communication that best fulfil the needs of the clientele. Riccardo’s expertise is such that he can supply a service of architectural and artistic consultancy, starting from the choice of an object, inserting it within furnishings and then placing it inside a specific location. By showcasing a constantly modernised collection, his showroom has quickly become a point of reference for many national and international antiquarians and designers, including a discerning clientele consisting of private collectors and industry experts.
