Application for membership of the Association may be submitted following the proposal of at least two existing Members or by invitation of the Board of Governors. The Board examines the respective documentation and proceeds to make a thorough appraisal by letter, at the end of which it passes resolution on whether or not to accept the new Member.
An application for membership that has been rejected may be submitted again for a new appraisal. An application which has been rejected three times cannot be re-submitted.
At the time of admission to membership a one-off entry fee has to be paid. After this each new Member pays an annual membership fee which is determined by the Board of Governors.
